Details
Another simply delightful zero booze wine from the Oddbird crew. There is a bit of white pear and green apple on the nose that sit well alongside a slightly bready, yeasty profile. This is impressive. A dry wine, with excellent concentration of fruit and flavour.

Well, this is something new! The team at Oddbird have one mission: to liberate alcohol from wine - and oh boy, have they delivered. Owner Moa Gürbüzer is a former social worker and worked mainly with alcohol related family issues. Her vision is to question and change the alcohol norms of society by creating world class wines but liberating them from alcohol. Alcohol free wine often struggles in the market. The wines can be boring and uninteresting; this is often down to how they are produced. It is commonplace for these wines to be warmed up, almost to boiling point, where they are then stripped of their alcohol. This, however also strips the wines of all of their flavour and aromas as well, rendering a pretty boring product that needs lots of additives to be interesting. Oddbird are careful to extract their alcohol under a vacuum that never let's the wine go over 25°C, which retains the natural flavour of the fruit. These are the best alcohol free wines we have ever tried. Another simply delightful zero booze wine from the Oddbird crew. Pairing guide
Ask almost any sommelier from any part of the world what their favourite food-pairing wine would be, and we bet more than half would give Riesling as their answer. Well this is the non-alcoholic version of a great Riesling! This is expressive and versatile, and a joy to drink with a range of seafood dishes like prawns, squid or scallops. Also great in taming the heat of Thai or Viet cuisine.
