Made from the local and often intriguing Sumoll grape variety, this is an attractive fizz, with notes of strawberries and red candy - think strawberry laces! This is floral, with concentration and a lick of funk for the more natural wine lovers out there.
Heretat Mascorrubí is a pretty lo-fi outfit operating at altitude out of Spain's Catalonia province in Penedès. The team's unwavering focus on local grape varieties and relatively natural winemaking have made them a seriously popular go-to locally, and we are delighted to bring their wines here to the UK finally. Exclusive to Good Pair Days, Heretat Mascorrubí focuses on the local varietal Montònega, which is related to Parellada (best known for its application in Cava), as well as the extremely rare Sumoll Blanc, and (red) Sumoll, which is prolific in the region. These are wines full of personality and character, each bottle telling a story of the team's focus and approach to champion the very best vinous virtues of their region.

Don't neglect pizza either, with salami-covered red sauce pizza an obvious choice, and choose your spice level for balance.
