Details
There is a great wave of modern Chardonnay winemaking underway in Australia and this wine is a perfect case of this new wave. There is a touch of under-ripe nectarine with almond and lean citrus notes balanced with toasty spice. This will have you wondering why you ever stopped drinking Chardonnay!

The Good Pair Days wine team are always on the lookout for the most exciting wineries and regions to work with. Luckily, there are plenty of good folk around and we discovered the Limestone Coast Winemakers (LCW) a few years ago. Ever since they have been producing knock out after knock out for us under their own labels, Vandenberg and Hidden Sea and it made sense for us to work with them on our own label, Daisy. The wines have been a roaring success in Australia and we thought it was time for the UK to jump on board. The Limestone Coast is a wine zone that encompasses key regions like Coonawarra, Padthaway and Wrattonbully, all important in their own right, but together produce a wide range of wines for our customers. From Grenache to Fiano and of course a few examples of Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon, we are really proud to showcase these wines across the whole Good Pair Days business.

Pairing guide
A good bottle of Chardonnay is a tough one to beat when it comes to meal times, and this rich yet vibrant release from Daisy couldn’t be more our cup of tea if it tried. We reckon it’s a particularly winning match for salmon and leek pasta dishes, creamy risotto with chicken or ham, and all kinds of richer almond or cashew-based curries. Thai coconut and noodle creations, hearty salads with creamy dressing, pork chops with lemon and parsley, and stuffed chicken breasts with mozzarella will also work wonders with this stunning white wine.
