Details
This wonderful rosé is made from 100% Cabernet Franc grapes and exudes all of those wonderful red berries and green, slightly leafy characteristics that we have come to love from this grape variety. Green strawberry and redcurrant notes leap from the glass, this is classy and effortless with outstanding purity and elegance.

Bodega Benegas is a wine producer in Argentina with its bloodline firmly rooted throughout its history. Founder Federico Benegas Lynch, the great-grandson of Don Tiburcio Benegas (a legend in the Argentine wine scene), raised Federico at El Trapiche - another famous wine estate in Mendoza. Federico then moved to the nation's capital of Buenos Aires to pursue a career before returning to his homeland in Mendoza with a dream to follow his vinous destiny and produce wine. The philosophy here is based on the French Châteaux, Borderlais system, in that the winery and its vineyards are one and the same and the wines are sensational. Gabriela Zavala is the head winemaker and oversees operations here. The winery is stunning, with a real home, and living room vibe, as well as an extensive historic wine cellar, housing old vintages from the estate's history. Bodega Benegas are a New World outfit, with an Old World Focus and its wines are not to be ignored. We are delighted to have them here at Good Pair Days finally.

Pairing guide
This glorious Mendoza rosé bursts with ripe fruit flavours and plenty of fascinating character, offering loads of exciting opportunities for food pairing perfection! We loved it with spicy chicken wraps and fajitas, but it’s going to be excellent with grilled pork, Asian crispy beef salads and dishes featuring seared tuna or poached salmon. Middle Eastern-inspired salads with pomegranate molasses will be wonderful here, and it’s also great with Greek dishes featuring white fish, gently spiced lamb or heaps of feta and olives.
