Details
This blend comprises 75% Sauvignon Blanc and 25% Rolle (Vermentino) and is an absolute winner for anyone looking for a fresh, citrus-driven white wine. You don't see these two grapes blended everyday, so we thought it worked well with our 'Abstrait' or abstract, approach to this fab range!

The 'Abstrait' range was born out of Good Pair Days' eagerness to have a bit of fun - and make some killer wine! We have scoured the south of France in search of growers and winemakers who are as keen and (dare we say), as creative as we like to think we are! From zippy Sauvignon Blancs and Cinsault (for our rosé) to ripe and ready Grenache, we are delighted to have settled on this exclusive range of wines and we can't wait for you to get stuck into them. All three wines from the Abstrait range hail from the Languedoc, one of France's most important wine regions in terms of volume output, but with so much quality to be enjoyed at the same time. We are proud of this range, so let us know what you think! The winemaking here is pretty classical, favouring steel ferments to promote as much primary fruit as possible. All of these wines are certified vegan. Enjoy!

Pairing guide
When it comes to food-friendly white wine styles, a well-balanced but oh-so refreshing Sauvignon Blanc blend is sure the one that takes the crown. This release from Abstrait ticks all the right boxes, and you’ll find it pairs very well indeed with a massive array of fish and seafood dishes, chicken or turkey curries, Japanese tofu creations, green vegetable favourites and anything that makes fine use of lemon, parsley, coriander, chilli and ginger. Simple salads, roast fowl, fried rice classics… all are going to work an absolute treat with this one!

Wine region
Pays d'Oc, France
Pays d'Oc is a wine region located in the Languedoc-Roussillon region of southern France. It is known for producing a wide variety of wine styles, including red, white, rosé, and sparkling wines. The region has a Mediterranean climate with hot, dry summers and mild winters, which allows for the production of full-bodied red wines made from grape varieties such as Syrah, Grenache, and Carignan. Pays d'Oc also produces aromatic white wines made from grape varieties such as Viognier and Chardonnay, as well as crisp rosé wines made from Grenache and Cinsault. The region is known for its innovative winemaking techniques and is home to a number of small, artisanal wineries but is also one of France's most important regions in terms of its output.
