Details
Meet your new poolside crush. With the colour of moonlit violet, 'Quick Dip' is a bright, fresh scented red with top notes of pink musk sticks and spice, and a chewy juicy core of raspberry pastille - or as the French say - 'framboise'. Bursting with Pinot Noir energy, this is the kind of Pinot made for picnics in the park, classed-up tableside with duck confit, or enjoyed on those laid back summer days with a slight chill to keep you sane in the heat.

There’s been a lot of talk about the Robe region in recent years, and if you’ve had your finger on the pulse of the contemporary Aussie wine scene, the chances are you’ve heard all about this special stretch of land and the awesome vino it is producing. Robe is an emerging wine region on the Limestone Coast in south-eastern South Australia, with vineyards that run along a rugged coastline where the vines are strongly influenced by the cooling effect of the Southern Ocean. This means vineyards in the region, have the opportunity to create wines with pure fruit flavours and mouthwatering freshness — big win. The Karatta winery has been gaining a whole lot of interest lately, and it really isn’t difficult to see why: run by David and Peg Woods, this new Australian winery is bringing together the best of the Old World and the New, and is releasing highly drinkable and utterly delicious wines to a growing number of dedicated fans. We teamed up with them to make a wine we knew we'd be craving in moments we need quick refreshment; Friday after work, once the kids are finally in bed, or after we crush some big goals and it's time to celebrate. So for yours and our sake we created Quick Dip - a wine we think may become your favourite refreshing fling yet.

Pairing guide
Pinot Noir is arguably the most food-friendly of all the red wine varietals. Juicy, light, and packed full of character, it’s a wine which just loves being matched up with savoury dishes from all over the world. Duck is never a bad idea with a Pinot Noir, but the juicy character of the Quick Dip Pinot makes is a very happy pair with burgers or a sausage sizzle.

Wine region
Robe, Australia
Robe is a sub-region of the larger Limestone Coast wine region of South Australia and is known for producing high-quality wines. The region has a Mediterranean climate, with warm, dry summers and mild winters, which makes it ideal for growing grapes. The landscape is characterized by rolling hills, beautiful beaches, and charming towns. The region is best known for its crisp and refreshing white wines that pair particularly well with a bounty of fresh local seafood. But it's also gained a reputation for its bold and flavorful red wines. Some of the grape varieties commonly grown in the Robe wine region include Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Shiraz.
