Details
This is a modern blend of grapes, consisting of Sauvignon Blanc and a nice splash of Vermentino. The Sauvignon blanc has lots to say with notes of passionfruit and green apple with the Vermentino offering up some grapefruit zest. The wine is energetic and vibrant and will be a fan favourite when the sun is shining.

The Rhône Valley has a steep history in producing wine, which dates back to the days of the Roman Empire. The wines today may be quite different from what they drank back then, but then again, a lot of things have changed over two thousand years. They may have a strong reputation for their red blends with a focus on Grenache, however there are also some amazing white wines lurking in the corners, for those that are brave enough to seek them out. Good Pair Days have had a long relationship with Boutinot, a supplier of wines from across the world, and for this project, we tasked them with producing a two ranges of wines, the Olivers and the Domaine Boutinot to showcase the Rhône in all its capacity, not just red wines, with a delightful focus on rosé and very drinkable white blends. The wines are bright and modern with juicy fruit and a nice amount of French savouriness to go with any soirée.

Pairing guide
This Sauvignon Blanc blend is a tough one to beat when it comes to food friendliness and versatility - it’s going to pair wonderfully with an absolutely massive array of tasty treats! You’ll get great results matching it up with firm white fish dishes (especially if lifted with plenty of fresh green herbs and a citrus dressing), as well as seafood like clams, mussels and crab. Green vegetable dishes are never a bad idea with a white blend like this one, and it’s also excellent with chicken in white wine sauce, goat’s cheese recipes and vegetable or shellfish rice dishes.

Wine region
Côtes du Rhône, France
Côtes du Rhône is a wine-growing region located in the southern part of France, along the Rhône river. It is known for its warm, Mediterranean climate and diverse range of soils, which produce a wide variety of wines. The region is most famous for its red wines, which are made from grape varieties such as Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvèdre. These wines are known for their rich, spicy flavours and their ability to age well. In addition to red wines, Côtes du Rhône also produces white and rosé wine. The region is home to many small, family-run wineries, as well as some of the oldest and most prestigious estates in France. The wines of Côtes du Rhône are labelled with the region's name, often followed by the name of the subregion or village where the grapes were grown. For example, a wine labelled "Côtes du Rhône-Villages" must come from one of the designated villages within the region, and must adhere to certain quality standards.
