Details
Here's a vibrant expression of New Zealand’s cool-climate finesse. Aromas of ripe red cherries, wild strawberries, and a whisper of earthy spice lead the charge, with hints of dried herbs and subtle oak adding complexity. On the palate, it’s silky and light-bodied, with bright acidity balancing juicy red fruit flavours and a gentle touch of tannin. Elegant and delicious.

Pairing guide
The 2022 Kuraka Pinot Noir’s bright red fruit and earthy undertones make it a versatile partner for a variety of dishes. Its light body and silky texture complement roasted duck, crispy-skinned salmon, or grilled lamb chops beautifully. For vegetarian options, try it alongside a wild mushroom risotto or a hearty beet and goat cheese salad—the wine’s acidity and subtle tannins will balance the richness perfectly. Even lighter fare like charcuterie boards or soft cheeses pairs effortlessly with its elegant profile.

Wine region
Marlborough, New Zealand
Marlborough is by far and away the jewel in New Zealand's winemaking crown. Situated at the northern tip of the South Island, Marlborough is home to one of the world's most celebrated and popular styles of wine: Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc. The region surmises the natural beauty that New Zealand boasts and is now home to over 500 wine producers of varying sizes, from epic, large-scale operations to small, boutique craft producers. Naturally, the region is celebrated for its zesty, pungent styles of Sauvignon Blanc, but the wine train doesn't stop there. Marlborough is also celebrated for very high-quality Pinot Noir and Chardonnay (the latter being some of the most underrated wines in the region). You will also find smaller pockets of Viognier, Riesling and Pinot Gris planted here. Marlborough represents almost 75% of all wine produced in New Zealand.
