Details
Made from a single vineyard high in the Eden Valley, this blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes is everything you'd want in a fresh and crisp sparkling. There's a hint of pretty Pinot Noir red apples, a little creaminess and then an energetic, refreshing palate. Oh and the crown seal instead of a cork? Simon 'Sorby' Adams believes this helps really capture that energy!
It’s a beautiful thing to witness Barossa legends Jill and Simon Sorby Adams pass on the torch to their three children as they prepare for take-off. While Sorby Adams Wines remains the heart of the family business, Gudilly represents the next generation of Sorby Adams Wines, with a flair for experimentation but retaining the quality you’d expect from wines bearing the Sorby Adams name. Now masters of their own ‘vinous’ destiny, the Adams siblings source fruit from around the SA region to produce quality single-vineyard wines designed to be enjoyed young and fresh. One of the most impressive vineyards happens to be from the same source as Yalumba’s Signature range, and the quality is staggering.

Pairing guide
When it comes to food pairing, you just can’t go wrong with a quality dry sparkling wine. This Eden Valley sparkling wine from the Adams family (great name on a wine label!) manages to be clean and crisp but also with some layers to it as well. We love this wine with breaded meats, fish, and cheeses, anything battered and deep fried (calamari is never a bad option!), buttered popcorn, elegant salads, quiche… I mean, the list is virtually endless with this food-friendly fizz!
