Details
The 'Los Espinos' Sauvignon Blanc is a lovely example of Chilean Sauvignon Blanc, with all the usual suspects in order from this neck of the woods. Tropical fruit punches through to start the journey, along with herbal tones, blackcurrant and gooseberry. The wine finishes with a crunchy acid pop that makes this your perfect intro into Chile.
Origin: Likely France, but unconfirmed. Possibly a wild grape variety that was indigenous to multiple areas in slightly different forms. Mainly Grown In: France, New Zealand, Italy, Chile, USA, South Africa and Australia. Key Facts: If you’re a fan of a lime twist in your drinks, the smell of fresh-cut grass in the morning, and have been told you are intense or that "you sure stand out in a crowd", well, you’ve met your match. Sauvignon Blanc is an all-dials-at-max kind of grape, which means it's going to fist pump your senses with its intense (and sometimes pungent) aromas, mouth-watering freshness and cleansing herbaceous character. As one of the most planted white grapes in the world, it’s no wonder it has claimed hearts in various styles; It can be lean and zesty when it’s from cooler climates and fuller and more tropical when grown in warmer ones. Fun Fact: Did you Know that Sauvignon Blanc is the third most planted white grape in the world? It has over 275,000 acres planted world wide.

It’s a beautiful match for all your favourite green vegetable dishes - especially those featuring snow peas, green beans or asparagus, and would also work well with classic BBQ sides like potato salad.
