The No.1 Cava is 100% Macabeo in a brut nature style, however this is made easier by oodles of sunshine in this warm region. The result is a fruit-laden sparkling with plenty of citrus and apple salad vibes, zesty lemon and some puckering acidity. A wonderful sipping style.

It’s a natural pairing for classic Spanish tapas dishes ranging from tortilla with potato to Serrano ham, and will be particularly good with canapes or pasta dishes featuring smoked salmon, cured pork or green olives.
