The Touraine Gamay from Complices second vineyard, Domaine à Deux is an absolute banger, with bright purple colour, a smoked meat start on the nose with undercurrents of cherry berry spice. This Gamay shows a slightly wild side as well, which is still crunchy and bright.

The Loire Valley is a grand region that traverses central France where you will find the perfect mix of history, gastronomic delights and a nice smattering of castles. François- Xavier Barc and Gérald Vallée started Complices de Loire in 2010, after both having a strong background of winemaking in the Loire Valley. The winery sources fruit from across the Loire and produces a range of classic wines from Sauvignon Blanc and Chenin Blanc to Cabernet Franc and Gamay. The winery has two different vineyards, after acquiring Domaine à Deux in 2015, which has helped grow the range of wines. There is a beauty to the range, with modern wine labels and well constructed wines that showcase the versatility of the Loire Valley.
