Details
The Frog Chorus rosé is a really beautiful wine, just so clean and pure. Fresh fruit flavours, nothing out of place, just an elegant and easy-going rosé for the warmer months.
Rosé is predominantly made from red grape varieties. The colour in wine is actually from pigments found in the skins of the grapes, so even red grapes have clear-coloured juice. The colour is then ‘bled’ out of the skins by infusing the skins into the juice. So for rosé, the wine simply spends far less time hanging out with the skins! Rarely you will find a rosé that is a combo of white and red grapes – they’re not ‘less good’, just less common. Rosé is super versatile – it suits any occasion. Best to always have a bottle in the fridge, just in case, you know….Wednesday happens or something.

Pairing guide
This rose wine was absolutely made for pairing with food, and its incredible balance of freshness and acidity, alongside lush fruit flavours, makes it an absolutely legendarily food-friendly pink wine you’re sure to fall in love with. We love drinking this wine alongside charcuterie and dishes which make the most of cured meats - so don’t be afraid to experiment with some quality bacon or salami from your local deli! It’s also going to be fantastic with fresh seafood, raw shellfish, and grilled fish, as well as the usual rosta of picnic classics, light salads, and fresh cheeses.
