Details
Weissburgunder (Pinot Blanc) blends with Chardonnay here in this 50/50 blend aged in small and large format French oak from limestone soils. Notes of golden apple, apple pie and shortcrust pastry leap from the glass. There is a firm line of acidity, with smoky, flinty, mineral notes throughout. This is a skilfully made wine.
Christopher Full has got to be one of the most exciting young winemakers coming out of Germany at the moment. Our wine team recently discovered this whizz-kid back in early 2023 on a trip to Germany, where we were immediately drawn in by Christopher's epic wine labels... then things got really interesting. Christopher has Riesling (amongst other grapes) running through his veins and his outstanding, superb range of small-batch, hand-crafted wines are nothing short of exceptional. Full's winery and vineyards are located in the Mölsheim in Zellertal, which is one of the best terroirs and hotspots for grape growing in Germany at the moment. The entire area is effectively a giant limestone rock and the soil forces vine roots to reach deep into the ground leading to low yields of exceptional quality. Christopher tells us that "winemaking is mining for terroir", all of his wines are fermented naturally in small oak barrels and bottling only takes place just before the following harvest.

Pairing guide
Made from a winning combo of Pinot Blanc and Chardonnay grapes, this elegant and characterful white blend is sure to satisfy lovers of indulgent white wines. When it comes to food pairing, we loved how well this matched with richer vegetarian dishes - squash soup, chicken and coconut curries, and veggie stroganoff would all work a treat. Korma curries, pork with cream sauce, mac ‘n’ cheese and other creamy pasta sauces, avocado salads, heartier white fish like pollock, cod and hake, and roast chicken will pair beautifully with this wine, too.

Wine region
Rheinhessen, Germany
Get ready to raise your glasses and clink them together in the Rheinhessen wine region, baby! Located in southwestern Germany along the beautiful Rhine river valley, this place is the ultimate playground for wine lovers. With more than 26,000 hectares of vineyards, it's the largest wine-growing region in the country, and boy do they know how to make a good bottle of white wine. If you're a fan of Riesling, you're in for a treat because they grow some of the best grapes in the world here. But that's not all – Silvaner, Pinot Noir, and Müller-Thurgau are just a few of the other grape varieties that thrive in this mild and sunny climate. You'll find plenty of small, family-owned wineries that produce unique and interesting wines that reflect the local terroir.
