Details
A classic blush rosé made from Pinot Grigio, this wine is all about the freshness and taut mouthfeel, making it a winner with, or without food. Citrus top notes interlace with hints of red cherry and watermelon.
Tucked away in the picturesque Italian countryside you will find Renaissance, a winery and project that’s as charming and forward-thinking as it sounds. Specialising in crisp, herbal styles of Pinot Grigio and lean, BBQ-worthy rosé wines, this family-owned gem has mastered the art of winemaking for generations, blending tradition with a fresh, modern twist. Their Pinot Grigio is everything you’d want from an Italian white – elegant, light, and bursting with the kind of citrusy zest that instantly transports you to a sun-soaked terrace overlooking vineyards. But don’t let its simplicity fool you. Renaissance's approach to Pinot Grigio is all about showcasing the grape’s full potential with balanced acidity and a refreshing finish. Then there’s their rosé – a vibrant, fruity number that’s perfect for long, lazy afternoons. Crafted from a careful selection of local Pinot Grigio grapes, it’s got all the delicate strawberry and floral notes you’d expect, but with an Italian flair that sets it apart. If you’re after something approachable yet elegant, Renaissance wines are an absolute must-sip!

Pairing guide
We love a good bottle of rosé wine here at Good Pair Days, even if the sun is no longer shining and temperature has started to plummet. This beautiful release is a real crowd-pleaser, and will pair brilliantly with a wide range of more seasonally-appropriate dishes. We reckon it’s a top match for a chicken and bean stew, or with spicy chicken or vegetarian fajitas. Poached salmon with mashed potatoes, rack of lamb served pink with lentils, ham and cheese pastries and hearty tomato-based pasta sauces would also be highly recommended.
