Details
Aged for six months in a combination of French and American oak. This is such a lovely entry to the Lynus range, bursting with so much youthful primary fruit character. A bright, chewy wine, with notes of blueberry fruit and black pepper and Fruit Pastille. Extracted tannins compliment the lovely freshness here. Elegant and delicious.

Bodega y Viñedos Lynus is a seriously impressive outfit operating out of one of Spain's premier wine regions: Ribera del Duero. Our winemaking team has been looking for an exclusive producer from this part of the world for some time, and has been busy tasting through several producers before settling on the sensational, boutique wines from Lynus. With vineyards based mostly on limestone soils, these are wines that are all about freshness, power and finesse, with reasonably low-intervention practice in the winery in order to let the primary fruit of Tempranillo grapes really shine through. Perhaps slightly atypical for the region, these are wines that are not so obviously oaked, relying on their natural terroir to shine through. A true boutique winery, everything at Lynus is done by hand. These are small production wines that make a big impact and we are over the moon that they are finally here in the UK. Not to be missed!

Pairing guide
We can’t help but get excited every time we discover a new Tempranillo wine to share with you all - there’s something about this red variety that really gets us going! This bottle from Lynus is right up there with the best of them, and it’s going to be great with all your favourite Spanish, Mexican and Tex-Mex recipes. Fajitas, chilli con carne, Spanish chicken with olives and red peppers, and anything with chorizo and kidney beans is sure to hit the spot. Goulash and other paprika-rich stews are never a bad idea, and it’s also excellent with manchego and other medium-strength cheeses.
