Details
This Chenin hails from 30-year-old vineyards planted on clay soils making for a muscular wine. Natural fermentation in barrel lends towards a rich, heady Chenin Blanc, with plenty of ripe orchard fruit and patisserie notes, supported by a refreshing, mineral finish.

Pairing guide
We can’t help but get a flutter of excitement every time a new Chenin Blanc drops in our laps to be tried, and this bottle from La Seigneurie ensured those flutters just kept coming. Beautifully balanced and aromatic, it’s a great pairing for dishes featuring roast cauliflower, grilled courgettes and couscous salads, and will work brilliantly with Chinese sweet and sour dishes, Japanese tonkatsu, and coconut-based Thai curries and soups. Pork chops, cod with harissa and green olives, and chicken tagines with preserved lemons are also great recipes to try with this one!
