The sublime wines of CasalFarneto have been on our radar for a number of years here at Good Pair Days and we are super excited to bring them exclusively into the UK. Based in the Marche region of eastern Italy, these guys are specialists largely in white wine, working principally with Verdicchio and a number of other grape varieties including Montepulciano and Sangiovese (both red). It is worth noting that Verdicchio is synonymous with some of the finest white wines in Italy, and nobody does it better than the talented crew and CasalFarneto. In the province of Ancona, CasalFarneto tends to around 35 hectares of prime vineyard estate. Throughout, you will find the indigenous Farnetto oak trees from which the company takes its name. The team have a particular focus on organic viticulture as well as sustainable practice from grape to glass, employing the use of modern technology and combining that with a very traditional, rustic style of winemaking. These guys are at the top of the game.
