Pairing guide
Juicy, plush and packed full of character, this delicious Merlot is a guaranteed crowd-pleaser. We loved how well it paired with duck breast served with chips and gravy, and it’s equally good with a leg of lamb or lamb cutlets, roast beef Sunday dinners, and vegetarian creations featuring butternut squash, sweet potato and beetroot. Garlic potato recipes, sausages, portobello mushrooms with cheese, red pepper soup, brie and camembert, and unctuous bean and lentil dishes will also do the trick nicely.
