This hands-off, lo-fi Semillon is one of the finest iterations of the grape you will find in South Africa. It's pithy and citrus-laden, with intense notes of freshly clipped lawn, basil and lemongrass. Structurally serious, the acidity is tempered by the wonderful concentration of fruit. An exciting wine, and one that will drink well for years to come.

The talented Jolette Steyn has only just begun with this brand, launching in 2021 with her first vintage, but she has cut her teeth at a number of renowned producers, completing over fifteen harvests across four continents. The South African wine scene continues to impress with its progressiveness and exciting generation of vigneron, and you'd be silly not to count Jolette in that group of exciting individuals. She has hit the ground running in the wine game and has been met with rapturous applause for her two, maiden Semillon wines - on being a skin contact style - these are really quite stunning.
