Details
Delicate, laidback and delicious. This rosé has my taste buds relaxing on a pool floatie in a sexy one-piece — is there a better place to enjoy rosé? Notes of blood orange and zest mingle with rhubarb, raspberry and a touch of anise that dances across the palate with a clean line of acidity. It's got that sultry sophistication — far from the tutti-frutti style rosé you drank at Uni pool parties. This organic and sustainably grown wine is a bit more mature and refined, but can still splash around in the pool — just maybe don't make me get my hair wet.

Souleil’s story starts in a sun-drenched wine region of southern France along the stunning Mediterranean Sea. This is where the founders, Marianne and Thomas, grew up surfing and shucking oysters. After gaining years of experience and expertise working in wine, the two childhood friends began to dream about making a wine that embodies the feel of an endless summer. Focusing on sustainability, they created Souleil Vin de Bonté, a vegan and organic wine intended to be served not just on the shoreline or poolside, but with a powerful purpose. Part of Souleil Vin de Bonté’s proceeds goes toward protecting one of the planet’s most valuable resources: our oceans! Only sip of one of their wines and you'll be transported to that warm summer vibe with long-lit days filled with sun rays. Not to mention an extra soul-satiating spark if you find yourself simultaneously splashing in the ocean. Delicate, laidback and delicious. Pairing guide
Souleil has struck gold once again with this beautiful rosé wine, which really captures the essence of lazy sunny afternoons spent with friends and good food. This wine is going to be fantastic with barbecued chicken or seafood, and will work very well with more robust salads featuring grains and root vegetables. Moroccan cuisine, fish like salmon and tuna, and savoury pastries featuring chicken or bacon will also hit the spot. Charcuterie, aged cheeses, and olives are also a great choice for this delicious wine!

Wine region
Southern France, France
Also known as the Languedoc-Roussillon wine region in the south of France is one of the largest wine-producing regions in the world. It is known for producing a wide variety of wines, including reds, whites, rosés, and sparkling wines. The region's Mediterranean climate and varied soil types, such as schist and limestone, impart distinct flavours and aromas to the grapes grown there. The area has a long history of winemaking, dating back to the Roman era, and is known for producing high-volume, high-quality wines. The most famous wines from Southern France are typically blends of indigenous grape varieties like Syrah, Grenache, Carignan, and Mourvèdre. The region is a popular destination for wine tourists, offering tastings, tours, and wine festivals.
