Details
Drinkability, that's the greatest thing about this ginger beer, with a mild sweetness and a certain zinginess to round things off. It feels gingery, and anything but sweet, which just makes it even more sessionable.
Like so many brewers, Mike Clarke started off brewing in his garage. Initially, as an IT professional, making beer was just a fun hobby. But the hobby grew, bursting out of his garage and pushing Mike to make beer a full-time gig with the name of Sauce Brewing. And he went all-in, setting up a state-of-the-art brewery in Marrickville, aka the beer heart of Sydney, in 2017, complete with a glorious astro-turfed beer garden and an array of taps. Since then, Sauce has earned a reputation for dark beers, sours and more, with polished brews that embrace diversity without ever feeling too freaky for deliciousness.

Pairing guide
With its fiery flavour and crisp, refreshing character, it’s hard not to be won over by this brilliant ginger beer from Sauce Brewing. It’s impressively versatile when it comes to food pairing, too - one the one hand, we loved it with Thai-style prawns and noodle dishes, ginger and bean stews and beer-battered fish and chips. On the other, it’s a great choice for pairing with sticky ginger cakes and other spiced desserts, dark chocolate and baked apple puddings. Nice!

The Greater Sydney area boasts several wine regions, including the lush Hawkesbury Valley, the rolling hills of the Southern Highlands, and the world-renowned Hunter Valley. These regions are a wine lover's dream, producing a diverse range of wines that cover a wide range of styles. Whether you're in the mood for a crisp white, like a Chardonnay or Sauvignon Blanc, or a rich red, like a Shiraz or Cabernet Sauvignon, these regions have got you covered.
