Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon are the perfect match, tropical fruit mixed with citrus to make the ideal, refreshing wine. With some added celery and herbal crunch, this has a nice feel good factor.
The Australian wine landscape has changed a lot over the last 50 years, for one we didn’t have to contend with hard seltzers, G & T’s and a range of beers greater than a couple of options that are apparently suitable when you have a hard earned thirst. To adapt to the ever changing landscape, Good Pair Days introduced the New Disco range of wines. These modern wines are perfect for those trying to work out what to drink that is trendy for these modern times. We like to think we know what is trendy, and although only our mums think we are trendy, we still take pride in finding the trendiest of wines for our GPD customers. Our wine buyers have quite a good black book of wineries that are always happy to help with our endeavours. So for this edition of New Disco, we have teamed up with a selection of sparkling wines as well as a couple of classic still wines. Stay tuned for what we have to come, and enjoy being trendy.

Pairing guide
Zesty, crisp, and full of life, New Disco Sauvignon Blanc Semillon is the ultimate refresher—made for sunny days and flavour-packed pairings. With bright citrus, tropical fruit, and a hint of fresh herbs, it’s a natural match for seafood dishes like grilled prawns, fish tacos, or a classic ceviche. Its vibrant acidity also cuts beautifully through creamy goat’s cheese, sushi, or herby Mediterranean salads. Feeling adventurous? Try it with spicy Thai or Vietnamese dishes—the zingy freshness keeps everything in perfect harmony.

Wine region

Riverland, Australia
Located in the heart of South Australia, the Riverland wine region is a tropical paradise for wine lovers. The region was formerly known for its traditional wines, particularly Shiraz, Chardonnay, and Grenache as well as its abundance of sunshine and beautiful scenery. In the last few years it's added a raft of Mediterranean varieties to its charm - think Fiano and Nero d'Avola. The warm climate and fertile soils of the Riverland make it a perfect place for grape growing, and the wines produced there are bursting with flavour. So why not explore the wines of the Riverland and discover a new favourite?
