Details
Petite Meslier is one of the rarest grapes used to make Champagne, with this forgotten variety a precious treasure for a handful of winemakers who love that it keeps cool and holds acidity even in the hottest vintages. What better grape to make sparkling wine in the warmth of the Eden Valley, right? This one-of-a-kind Irvine Sparkling Meslier is a beauty, too, with white flowers, red apples and a delicious chalky tang. A beautiful, breezy, vibrant sparkling but with surprising appley fruit to it as well.

Pairing guide
With the racy acidity and ultra-clean lines of this unique sparkling wine, the pairing options go towards more delicate flavours. Grilled fish and calamari or crab would be wonderful, and especially seafood salads for something very fresh. White cheese like brie or camembert is also a natural choice, and even a pack of your favourite salted chips can be elevated by the purity and gentle creamy edges of the Irvine Petit Meslier.
