Details
An elegantly shaped bottle, with an attractive pale salmon colour, that sips so lovely and dry. This might happen to be one of the all-time favourite warm weather rosés! It's pungent, yet light, tight and fresh, and drinks best well chilled. Made from a blend of Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre, showing delicate notes of tangy grapefruit, with a hint of dried rose petals. Plenty of acidity and very refreshing.

Created in 1967, the Cellier de Dauphins brand is the benchmark for the Rhône Valley region. The wines are a collaborative effort of over 3000 (yep, that's a lot) growers spread throughout the Rhône Valley, and take in a wide variance of vineyard sites and grape varieties. The diversity of vineyard plots gives the winemakers a wide range of grapes to select from, and thus craft a winning wine every time. The vineyards are set all across the picturesque Rhône Valley - blessed with a sunny Mediterranean climate cooled by the mistral winds. Dry winters combine with summers with high temperatures and yet cool nights. The grapes love this, and ripen fully, with expressive flavours and high levels of acidity. Such is the climate that the growing of the grapes is the easy part - the blending of the wine is where it gets hard! Luckily, with such a range to choose from, Celliers de Dauphins manage to ace this part of the test.

Pairing guide
The southern Rhône Valley is renowned worldwide for the quality of its rosé wines, as is perfectly displayed in this gorgeous bottle. It’s a stunning pairing for classic French fish and seafood dishes, especially moules mariniere and similar mussel or clam dishes, and will work very well with barbecued prawns and grilled oily fish, too. Chicken and salmon salads are a top pairing with this wine, and you’ll get equally good results from sausages with lots of herbs, spring vegetable risotto, and lightly-spiced pasta dishes.

Wine region
Côtes du Rhône, France
Côtes du Rhône is a wine-growing region located in the southern part of France, along the Rhône river. It is known for its warm, Mediterranean climate and diverse range of soils, which produce a wide variety of wines. The region is most famous for its red wines, which are made from grape varieties such as Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvèdre. These wines are known for their rich, spicy flavours and their ability to age well. In addition to red wines, Côtes du Rhône also produces white and rosé wine. The region is home to many small, family-run wineries, as well as some of the oldest and most prestigious estates in France. The wines of Côtes du Rhône are labelled with the region's name, often followed by the name of the subregion or village where the grapes were grown. For example, a wine labelled "Côtes du Rhône-Villages" must come from one of the designated villages within the region, and must adhere to certain quality standards.
