Details
Elegant bottle, a pale copper/salmon in colour and bone dry? This could be one of our favourite warm weather rosés! It's light, tight and fresh, and drinks best well chilled. Made from a blend of Grenache, Syrah and Mourvedre, it shows delicate notes of strawberry and nectarine, with a hint of cinnamon. Plenty of acidity and very refreshing.

Created in 1967, the Cellier de Dauphins brand is the benchmark for the Rhone Valley region. The wines are a collaborative effort of over 3000 (yep, that's a lot) growers spread throughout the Rhone Valley, and take in a wide variance of vineyard sites and grape varieties. The diversity of vineyard plots gives the winemakers a wide range of grapes to select from, and thus craft a winning wine every time. The vineyards are set all across the picturesque Rhone Valley - blessed with a sunny Mediterranean climate cooled by the mistral winds. Dry winters combine with summers with high temperatures and yet cool nights. The grapes love this, and ripen fully, with expressive flavours and high levels of acidity. Such is the climate that the growing of the grapes is the easy part - the blending of the wine is where it gets hard! Luckily, with such a range to choose from, Celliers de Dauphins manage to ace this part of the test. Elegant bottle, a pale copper/salmon in colour and bone

Côtes du Rhône, France
Côtes du Rhône is a wine-growing region located in the southern part of France, along the Rhône river. It is known for its warm, Mediterranean climate and diverse range of soils, which produce a wide variety of wines. The region is most famous for its red wines, which are made from grape varieties such as Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvèdre. These wines are known for their rich, spicy flavours and their ability to age well. In addition to red wines, Côtes du Rhône also produces white and rosé wine. The region is home to many small, family-run wineries, as well as some of the oldest and most prestigious estates in France. The wines of Côtes du Rhône are labelled with the region's name, often followed by the name of the subregion or village where the grapes were grown. For example, a wine labelled "Côtes du Rhône-Villages" must come from one of the designated villages within the region, and must adhere to certain quality standards.
